Why is yugioh so addicting
Tomowatt View Profile View Posts. Because it's easy to AFK? Aznex View Profile View Posts. Just remember to take breaks every now and then to play something else. Otherwise, you'll get burned out and lose interest as soon as you do finally decide to put it down. Lem View Profile View Posts. It's a great game. I have a little over 5K hours and I have constant fun. Seriously, I spend much more than I should on this game I could get everything without paying a dime but i'm just too impatient xD.

Allow me to answer that myself. We would be watching G. Lightsworn, Lightsworn vs. Blackwing, and Blackwing vs. Not very entertaining, if I do say so myself. Aki is right. There would be almost no point in watching the same decks destroy each other. Or watching one deck destroy everyone else. Maybe that's why 5Ds is about riding duels. It gives more to the game than jug est dueling I was 18 when i got into it. I felt like i was too old but my cousin he was 20 and definitely not a geek wanted to try it.
And it became a guilty pleasure. We felt kind of embarrassed playing it at our age but it was fun so we kept at it. Then we stopped playing it for 6 years.
Then i move and i find my old deck. I decide to look at the cards and i get the urge to play again so i tell my cousin to dig up his deck so we can play again. We do and i wish i hadn't brought it up. For the last 2 weeks all we've done is breathed and lived yugioh! God damn, it can be so addicting finding and buying cards that i wish i hadn't gotten hooked again!
Oh well, might as well enjoy it, even if we're both embarrassed to play it at our age. He's 26 and I'm Heck, I'm 22, and my friends and I spend most of our off time between classes hanging out in the campus library flipping cards. Its not even for the competition - the most impressive thing you can do in a game is get your opponent to yell, "Shenanigans! Honestly my most impressive moment Not bad for a Children's Card Game!
Alas, if only the anime were more in style with the manga Well, it's something along the lines to what people are saying are here. Guess what? Adults got hooked on it too! So: AH HA! Take that spectators! I've tried with Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z and GT not the new ones, the ones that came out in the late 90's early 's ,.
In the end, I did not know of how to play them, except Yu-Gi-Oh! Boy, that was the stupidest thing I've ever done. But, that's not the point. The point is this: It's a game for all ages. Both male and female can play with it I'm tried that people are saying it's just for the boys, well guess what, is not. It's their choice if they want to collect cards or not.
No ones forcing them. Plain and simple. I love this card game just too damn much, and the anime to boot. I don't think I will ever stop playing and collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm 18 and i been playing for a few years, and I'm not embarrassed about it, me and my friends generally play at 6th form college to the non english people out there go to local tournies and stuff like that. None of us are really considered geeks. Same here. I'm not embarrassed to playing the card game though my parents thinks it's a waste of time and money to spend on it , but it's not just the card game itself.
It's the artwork and the storyline that these card have who got me into it. I'm 19, have a factory job, pay bills, insurance, feed my dog, run errands to the post office, and I'm going to drive 2 hours away from my home town this weekend just to play this card game.
People have their hobbies, and while I don't purchase the cards anymore my collection is out of hand , I do enjoy the game enough to keep playing. You can play at any age, heck I knew two 40 year olds who dabbled in the game, and it's not like your playing with dolls or something no offense if any of you do. It's a freakin' time killer, as long as it isn't the only thing you do, there's nothing to be made fun of about. If you don't want to be made fun of for it, try doing something else along with the yugioh, like a sport.
Heck, it's what I do to relax after work. Play the game and enjoy, eventually you will get bored with it and you'll move on. You ll get rid of your cards when you get older or you'll keep them and remember the fun times you had with them.
Enjoy yourself. Land of dogs , December 11, UTC. Hear, hear! On that! I'm 13 IRL, and when I play the game at like hobby shops, most of the people are older than me. Majority of them is Once though, a guy at the Stardust Overdrive sneak peak was 48 and still playing the game! Really unique. I personally enjoy the game with older people as it makes me feel confident that I can get across to those older than me, and be on a similar skill level.
On the other end of the spectrum, I enjoy teaching younger duelists some tips and suggestions.
