Why does ghirahim look like a girl

We've already seen that lyre as an item Link can equip - perhaps he since Sheik is referred to as 'he' in Ocarina, even if the person we're actually seeing is Zelda - that indicates that the persona of Sheik is male, at least gives Link the lyre as a way to stay in contact with him. This is simply because, as SS is either the first in the timeline or close to it, either villain is simply not important because they haven't become evil yet. Ganondorf is only important starting from Ocarina of Time because that is the origin of how he became Ganon.

We don't know just how much time passes between OoT and SS, but given how the master sword is already legendary and hyrule is a relatively well-established nation in OoT, it would be a while. Ganondorf probably isn't even BORN yet. If this game is before Minish Cap, he isn't even an evil wizard yet and thusly, not of relevance.

There appears to be a bit of reversing going on with traditional elements of the series. Given how heavily the series relies on Leitmotif , I doubt this is unintentional. Some evidence:. To extrapolate, I'd say an event will occur around the end of the game that will "reverse" everything and make things different for the characters, but make perfect sense to long time players of the series. The world below Skyloft is supposed to be a dark, war-torn place.

This is similar to the back-story in Ocarina of Time, and civil war may have gone on for a long time before then. Ganondorf will lead his faction of Gerudo against the other races of Hyrule, and he may be set up to be the mastermind behind the events of the game. However, the Big Bad possibly the proto-Twili will eventually reveal himself, forcing an uneasy alliance between Ganondorf, Link, and other faction leaders.

Together they will fight a bigger threat to them all, but Ganondorf will insist that while he and the Big Bad are after the same thing, he recognizes that the world will be much worse off if the interlopers were to win. It is claimed that the Sheikah were extremely skilled in magic and combat. Instead of having red eyes like a Sheikah though he has the dark eyes and eye shape of the Gerudos.

Humans were obscure during the time of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and didn't begin to be more prevalent until the time of the original Zelda game, Zelda II, and Twilight Princess. It has been stated Skyward Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time, so Ghirahim's normal ear is unlikely to be caused from being a human mix.

Basing this on the above theory, but why the hell not? Plus, it'd be a nice way to slip in a pseudo- Hijacked by Ganon. Fi and Ghirahim are quite similar, appearance-wise, and there have been some other hints suggesting that they have an even closer relationship.

And it's been practically confirmed that Fi, the Goddess Sword, will soon become the Master Sword itself. So what if the catalyst is Ghirahim himself? What if Ghirahim is another "Sword-Person"? Ghirahim is not the final boss, but he is most definitely a major character.

Skyward Sword sees the timelines merging again and leads into the first two games of the series. Twinrova will be a major antagonist, or at least appear in some fashion, likely a boss.

This game will explain the origins of Hyrule and is connected to the mythology presented in Twilight Princess. The game is somehow connected to the Backstory of The Minish Cap. This game either takes place during or immediately before the war immediately prior to Ocarina of Time. This game is actually a long, long way back in Hyrule's past, and explains the origins of the different races.

LORD is strictly masculine, and I'm pretty sure there's a quote that says he's a he. SinkingBadges The Quiet Man. Joined May 30, Location Wherever you can look - wherever there's a fight,.

I have kind of a different viewpoint of Lord Ghirahim. You know, people have compared him to Phi, and if I remember correctly, Phi was said by Nintendo to not be a girl but a spirit who manifests itself in a female form. I'm thinking that Ghira may be the opposite. Instead, a genderless entity that manifests itself in a male figure. But I'm probably reading too much into it. GI probably did get it wrong, but this is just an idea this gave me. When it comes to specific elements of a series' fiction or lore, Game Informer frequently gets things wrong.

Here are some facts about the spirit of the Goddess Sword and devoted assistant to Link that you may have missed. Just because Fi is the spirit chosen by the Goddess Hylia to reside in the Goddess Sword and assist Link as the chosen hero, it doesn't mean they've necessarily been around that long. According to developer notes in Hyrule Historia, Fi is meant to look "13 or 14 years old" putting them around three or four years younger than Link appearance-wise.

Of course, this is only based on looks. Fi's actual age could be immeasurably longer, especially seeing as they show up in Breath of the Wild over years later. Fi has a style of speech that often comes across as robotic and emotionless. It's curious then how much empathy or feeling they may possess, especially as they seem able to comprehend human emotions, but cannot seem to detect their own. For instance, Fi can sense the feelings Groose has for Zelda, stating: " I sense a large disturbance in this individual's aura.

In the end, Fi does seem to develop a subtle friendship with Link, telling him that they treasure the moments they spent together. This shows that throughout your journey Fi must have learned how to experience human emotion, perhaps having witnessed so much of it. Fi's design altered a lot over the game's creation, even changing from the version we saw at E3 into the final design we saw upon release. However, one thing that never changed was their striking similarity to the legendary Goddess Sword they inhabited.
